Welcome back

Could we take this opportunity to thank you for all of your hard work. It is most appreciated.

The focus of the indexing project has now changed. With so many census transcriptions now available online it has become imperative that this information is checked for accuracy. To this end we have set up a website which provides a focal point for the indexing project: an area separate from our commercial concerns, where you can communicate with other indexers and where you have access to specialist tools.

The UK Indexer team hope that you will continue to help us to provide an accurate vision of the past for not just today’s genealogy enthusiasts but for generations to come. You will find that your login details will work just as they have before so all you need to do is to change your bookmark to the new site.

We will obviously fulfil our obligations in rewarding you for any work you have completed (whether in part or in full) for the census name indexing project. Just email it back to us in the usual way. If you’d prefer, we can convert any rewards into UK Indexer credits.

The UK Indexing project rewards work done by issuing credits which can be accumulated and then redeemed against either vouchers or online subscriptions.

Full details of the project will be available when you log into the new website. It is our pleasure to invite you to join us at www.UKIndexer.co.uk
