Our Unique Data Sets

The Diamond subscription has the following data sets,
exclusive to TheGenealogist:

National Tithe
Collection

The Tithe Records provide a unique view into our ancestral heritage by providing details of ownership and occupancy of land throughout England and Wales, revealing a wealth of information about people, places and landmarks in the Victorian era. The Tithe Commutation Act of 1836 meant records were taken, as with the Doomsday Book, of the land ownership and occupancy, land uses and sizes, and the rents to be paid. These records link directly to pins on black & white Tithe Maps (some counties are also in colour) showing you the land your ancestor owned or occupied.

Lloyd George
Domesday Survey

The 1910 Lloyd George Domesday Survey helps you locate where your ancestors lived in early Edwardian England. Searching on a modern map can be frustrating if an area has been destroyed or redeveloped in the intervening years and the map fails to pinpoint where old properties had once been. This survey is a unique combination of maps and residential data, so that you can precisely locate your ancestor's house on large scale, hand annotated maps of London.

Royal Air Force
Records Air27

With over 11 million records online, this is the largest collection of searchable AIR 27 records, making it the best place to find details about your RAF ancestors. These records include not only the journal-like day to day entries recorded on Form 540 in which you can find RAF personnel mentioned, but also all of the appendices that go along with these documents, giving many statistical details as well as "Secret Orders".
