1910 Lloyd George Domesday Survey, also known as the 1910 Valuation Office Survey
The Valuation Office Survey of 1910 was initiated by the 1909 'People's Budget' of David Lloyd George, and
which also gave rise to the Inland Revenue, in order to provide revenue in the form of a taxation upon the
'unearned increment' of property and land. This collection of records has been compiled in two formats - the
valuation field books that provided detailed information about a property, and the plan of the property
outlined upon a map.
